Unique technology, tighter spreads
Our multi-venue technology is unique among financial spread betting companies. We combine the best bid and offer prices from a share's primary exchange (such as the London Stock Exchange) with those quoted on Europe's leading Multilateral Trading Facilities (Chi-X, BATS and Turquoise), to derive consolidated market bid-offer prices.
These market spreads will never be wider than those on the primary exchange and could be narrower. Therefore, when we add our dealing spread it will often be tighter on over 650 UK and European equities.

Guaranteed Stops on over 7000 shares
IG Index offers guaranteed risk protection on over 7000 individual shares - the most comprehensive Guaranteed Stop shares list of all UK spread betting firms.
Low deposit requirements
We have introduced a new system of Tiered Deposits, which enables us to offer lower spread betting deposit requirements - starting from only 5%.

Small minimum bets
You don't have to make large bets. The minimum deal size for some UK shares is only £1/point (the equivalent of 100 shares).
Remember that financial spread betting is a leveraged product and can result in losses that exceed your initial deposit. Spread betting may not be suitable for everyone, so please ensure that you fully understand the risks involved.
